Due to a lateral transfer of a KAM colleague within AstraZeneca, we are looking for a communicative individual for the position of:
Key Account Manager – CVRM, Cardiovascular, Renal and Metabolic Diseases
Your responsibilities:
Support of specialists in hospitals and private practice
Conducting professional, patient- and customer-benefit-focused conversations at a high scientific level / omni-channel
Building strategic partnerships by developing network structures
Proactively identifying business opportunities in line with AZ standards
Territory planning using potential and competitive analyses
Independent development and implementation of specific account strategies with cross-functional resource planning and close collaboration as a local team
Planning and execution of sales activities with budget responsibility
Proactive support of the cross-functional brand team
Your qualifications:
Completed scientific studies or pharmaceutical representative examination required
3–5 years of experience in pharmaceutical field sales, with experience in a hospital setting
Existing contacts in cardiology, nephrology, or diabetes desirable
Excellent knowledge of the Austrian healthcare system
Solid skills in analysis, planning, and management tasks
Good presentation and facilitation skills
Excellent communication and sales skills
Strong team player with implementation strength
Enthusiastic, results-oriented, and entrepreneurial mindset
Confident handling of CRM systems and MS Office
Fluent in German with good English skills
Category B driving license
